Manisha is a first year student, majoring in HCI. She received her bachelor's degree in Information Technology in India before she came to Michigan. She is especially interested in Interface Design, and hopes that her Master's Degree will help to foster the skills and experience needed to design interfaces for the population in India and other developing countries.

She feels that the context of the museum visit provides an opportunity to create an exciting interface which will play an important role in the learning cycle. In the past she worked on a project focusing on using a museum's online resources to augment the learning process in classrooms. In this project, she looks forward to designing an interface that will augment the process of "hands-on" learning at the museum.
